Destination Yarn is a one-woman, hand-painted yarn company. Inspired by a love of travel, color, and knitting, every skein is an adventure.

My Inspiration.

Each colorway is inspired by a place.  Which allows me to fuse my love of travel with my love of color.  Some are based on the actual look of a place:

Copenhagen is all of the colors of copper:

 While other inspiration can come from anywhere:

New Orleans is the Mardi Gras colors of Purple, Green, and Gold.

Berlin is inspired by the juxtaposition of old and new - neons and grays.

I also offer semi solid colors.  Most recently I launched the Celebrate Spring Line of colorways inspired by spring:
